Healthcare at MCHI: Bringing Quality Healthcare Closer to Those Who Need It Most
At Marcom Care for Humanity Initiative (MCHI), we believe that healthcare is a right, not a privilege. Yet, in many underserved communities, access to essential medical services remains limited due to financial constraints, stigma, inadequate infrastructure, and a lack of reliable health information.
Our healthcare initiatives bridge these gaps by providing life-saving services, health education, and community-based interventions, ensuring that vulnerable populations receive the care they need to live healthy and dignified lives
MCHI’s approach to healthcare is comprehensive, preventive, and community-driven, focusing on HIV counseling and testing (HCT), sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and mobile medical camps. We work to increase awareness, improve accessibility, and empower individuals to take charge of their health, all while strengthening healthcare systems to deliver lasting impact.
Our HIV Counseling and Testing (HCT) services ensure that individuals receive timely diagnosis, prevention education, and support. Many people, especially in remote areas, struggle to access HIV services due to stigma or long distances to health facilities. MCHI addresses these barriers by deploying mobile testing units to communities, schools, and workplaces, bringing confidential and accessible testing closer to those in need. We integrate peer education programs to provide accurate HIV information, dispel myths, and encourage safe practices. For those who test positive, our referral network connects them with antiretroviral therapy (ART), adherence counseling, and psychosocial support, ensuring continuity of care and improved health outcomes
Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) are central to MCHI’s healthcare interventions, especially for women, adolescents, and marginalized groups who often face obstacles in accessing reproductive health services. Through youth-friendly SRHR clinics, mobile outreach, and community engagement, we ensure that individuals receive family planning services, STI screening and treatment, menstrual health support, and reproductive health education in a safe, confidential, and judgment-free environment. Our peer-to-peer education initiatives equip young people with the knowledge to make informed reproductive health decisions, while community advocacy efforts challenge harmful cultural norms and push for policies that promote reproductive health equity.
Our medical camps are a vital part of our healthcare outreach, providing preventive care, maternal health services, chronic disease screening, and general medical consultations to people who would otherwise go without medical attention. These camps serve as temporary but powerful healthcare hubs in rural and urban slum areas, offering vaccinations, maternal health checkups, cervical and breast cancer screenings, and mental health support. MCHI partners with local healthcare professionals, hospitals, and government agencies to ensure that these medical camps not only provide immediate care but also link patients to ongoing health services.

At MCHI, we understand that healthcare is deeply connected to broader social and economic factors.
A community cannot thrive if its people are unhealthy, which is why our work extends beyond direct medical care. We engage in health advocacy, policy reform efforts, and public education to create lasting systemic change. By raising awareness, eliminating stigma, and improving access to services, we are working toward a future where no one dies from preventable diseases, no woman is denied reproductive healthcare, and no child suffers due to lack of medical attention.
Through a holistic and people-centered approach, MCHI is not just treating illness—we are transforming lives, strengthening communities, and ensuring that quality healthcare is accessible, affordable, and equitable for all.
